    1942 PLATT & MUNK CO. # 227-B "PLAYTIME DOLLS" DESIGNED BY BETTY SISSON
    I have been working on liquidating my late sisters collections and many of you who
    have been following my listings and I wish to THANK YOU, ALL!!
    I HAVE FUN
    SEARCHING THROUGH ALL OF HER INTERESTING FINDS! This
    paper doll BOXED SET HAS 4 PAPER DOLLS THAT INCLUDE : EDITH, PATRICIA, JOAN, AND ELAINE.    Each of the paper dolls have their own easel type stand attached to the backs of each doll.  Three of the dolls in this set do have crease lines on their necks with Patricia very near to needing some added support at the back of her neck.  Edith does need a dab of glue on her hand to adhere the outer paper of her hand back onto the cardboard of the doll.  The paper dolls are 9 7/8 inches tall and this set is in CUT CONDITION.    The clothing is all cut out.  The photos I have provided have each of the paper dolls standing next to their own wardrobe pieces.  This set was designed by artist BETTY SISSON.    This set is #227-B by Platt & Munk Co.  The original box is bright and colorful with only 1 tear on the bottom end flap of the lid.
