2 High Quality Precision Aluminum Powdercoated Calipers Made Soviet Russia USSR

Super-duper high quality pair of aluminum calipers here. Made in Soviet Russia (where calipers measure YOU!). Check out the pictures below--there are two of these, even though the gallery picture shows only one. One of them has the matching case. The other one is missing the matching case. I know next to nothing about measurement calipers. One of the calipers (without the case) shows 0,01mm - which I guess is the smallest increment of measurement? It measures from 0 to 50. The serial number is 5004 on that one. The one with the case has the same increment and range of measurement, but has a smaller opening on the clamp. That one is serial number 7406. The larger of the two is missing the plastic knob on the clamp part which is present on the smaller one. Both of them have a main knob and a fine adjustment clicking knob on them. These are undoubtedly finely crafted instruments. You can tell when you hold them in your hands. Even though they're made by our enemies the Russians! Back then they made good stuff apparently. I'm guessing these are at least 25 years old, given that the USSR ceased to exist in 1989. Very good cosmetic condition and no indication that they aren't also perfect functionally
