For auction is this early
Antique Early American Pressed Glass Spooner Etched with a Deer, Dog & Hunter Pattern and a Scalloped Mouth produced by Gillinder.
It measures 6 1/4" tall with a 3 3/4" diameter mouth on a 3" base.  The piece dates to the 1870's and made by Gillinder and Sons out of Philadelphia, PA.
It is being offered from an extensive collection that was part of a museum deaccessions sold by New York Christie's Auction House several years ago from a display of Early American pressed Glass at Winterthur, the DuPont estate which houses some of the
finest American antiques in the world. The white Christie's sticker reads
