    Description

    This auction is for a fine Antique Pressed Glass Castor, Cruet Set Pressed Threaded Glass Patter​n, c. 1860's. This is a really unique castor set has a short castor shaker, a single cruet with corked lid. This set also has a mustard pot and an open salt, both with silverplate miniature spoons. The glass pieces are all early clear pressed glass in a pretty threaded glass design. The stand is silverplate with a simple ring design to the top of the handle. The cruet stand where the bottles sit has custom sized rings to hold the different size and shaped threaded glass bottles. I offer this wonderful threaded glass castor or cruet set with no reserve and a Buy It Now. DIMENSIONS: The short castor shaker is 3 1/16" H. to the top of the lid finial. The open salt bowl is 1 1/4" H. x 1 15/16" Dia.. The crue bottle with stopper is 5 5/16" H. to the top of the stopper. The mustard pot is 3 1/8" H.. The silverplate stand at the handle is 7 9/16" H.. CONDITION: The condition of the set is very good with minimal nicks along the rim of the pieces. Also the top finial of the silverplate stand has a split in the ring handle top.
