Antique STERLING SILVER Weighted 10.5" CANDLESTICKS Candle Holders (1pr.)

Description

These candlesticks are the most familar to me, from my grandmother's house (and I'm 62.)
I don't know the maker but I know these complimented (but "not" the same silver co.) her sterling flatware, which was ISWedgewood.
This has a similar deco style.
The long tapered column body has curves at the top where it connects to a section holding up a tulip shaped sconce.
These are cement weighted sterling silver candlesticks and do have a faint mark on the bottom (which I show) but I couldn't find what it stands for.
This pair is 10.5 inches in height and the bottom is circular and 4 inches in diameter.
They are so incredible (maybe, I'm weighing in extra fond memories,)    but they are far from perfect.
They've been wrapped up in a large box for years and I just pulled them out to sell.
In addition to the age related normal wear, there are several dents   Many are around the bottom edge of the two bases
(shown in the photos.)
In addition, and maybe more significant,
on each tulip sconce portion there is a circular dent.   I'm guessing, this happened from being improperly stored.
The dents are almost identical on each candlestick.  It was suggested that because of their placement, they may be able to be pushed/smoothed out from the inside by a jeweler.
In the last photograph, I made a point of placing them in lighting where the dents are aparent and stand out.
In almost every other image, however, one or both dented sides are facing the camera. It really was to show that even with those dents- the pair is still a gorgeous; the dents do not draw attention.
I don't usually polish or clean the vintage or antique items that I sell but I did use Haggerty gentle foam over each of these for a very quick clean up.  It made a difference in brightness and I'm sure if someone were to spend more time gently polishing, they'd look even better.
