  • Condition: These are vintage, tarnished, used candle holders in good condition. The bottom of one candleholder has been tested with nitric acid, see 12th photo. The "arms" of each candle holder have been cast of silver. The wax catching dishes and the 6 cups can be screwed off and on. There are horizontal solder marks where the top and bottom of each column has been soldered together. The candle holder on the right side of the first photo is a little shorter than the other one.

    ARTISAN, 900 SILVER, Stamped, Textured, HANDMADE, Vintage, PAIR OF CANDLE HOLDERS @ Market. The silversmith is from a Spanish speaking country.  The two holders together weigh 1,400 grams.  The overall measurement of one candle holder is 11 & 7/8" tall by 12 & 3/8" wide at the widest.  The measurement of the base is 3 & 1/8'' wide in diameter. These candle holders are marked PLATA FINA (Fine Silver) 900, see 11th photo. One candle holder has been tested with nitric acid on the bottom, see 12 the photo. After the spot was cleaned, there was no evidence of the spot nor tarnish.  I guarantee that they are as described.
