I am still working on liquidating my late sisters collections and many of you who have been following my listings and I wish to THANK YOU, ALL!  Since I am not a collector I do have to apologize for my lack of knowledge on this subject.  If I have grossly misstated anything in the description it is fine if you want to correct me.  I am now working on a 'new' bundle of paper dolls and other items that I just took into my possession, have fun exploring them right along with me!!
This is another PAPER DOLL SET from my sister's HUGE personal collection.   This is "BOBBIE BACK AND FRONT DOLL" that is a Blonde Haired Beauty with REAL HAIR.  This doll not only has her front features but she also has a back view as well.  The doll has clothes with wrap-around features that fasten and appear as a complete front and back dress.  This doll is marked with a patent number that dates to 1943.   This set was produced by the DeJournette Company of Atlanta, Georgia.   The Flat Doll  was designed by Alma DeJournette.  The doll is 9 inches tall and comes with a full array of bright and beautiful clothing that has NOT BEEN CUT OUT.  The clothing is unique in the fact that it is WASHABLE.  This Paper Doll also comes with her OWN Paper Doll that is only 3 1/2 inches tall.  Even the Dolly comes with changeable dress outfits!  Lots of accessories in this set are still intact.  Bobbie comes complete with even a COWGIRL OUTFIT and a RED CROSS NURSES OUTFIT.  The doll does have a crease line on one wrist and also on one side of her base.  The original box for this set shows some slight wear.  This is an unnumbered set.
