    DeJOURNETTE MFG CO. "KATHY THE DOLL WITH LACE-ON DRESSES" SET #200
    I am still working on liquidating my late sisters collections and many of you who have been following my listings and I wish to THANK YOU, ALL!  Since I am not a collector I do have to apologize for my lack of knowledge on this subject.  If I have grossly misstated anything in the description it is fine if you want to correct me.  I am now working on a 'new' bundle of paper dolls and other items that I just took into my possession, have fun exploring them right along with me!!
    This is another PAPER DOLL SET from my sister's personal collection.   This is "KATHY THE DOLL WITH LACE-ON DRESSES" with Kathy looking very similar to the doll used in the PLAYMATE Paper Doll set that I also have listed.  This set was produced by the DeJournette Mfg. Company of Atlanta, Georgia and is undated.   The doll, whose name is KATHY, is 12 inches tall and has 12 Beautiful dresses in her wardrobe.  There are 3 colorful laces to help dress the doll with the red and yellow lacing are missing one of their end tips.  The clothing came already cut out and perforated to accept the laces to dress the doll. The doll is supposed to have a cardboard stand but it is not included in the original box.   The original box does have some wear and has 1 split corner and a tear on both of the side flaps of the lid.  The base of the box does show some staining around the edges.
