    Description

    This is a lot of 2 chrome standard size postcards of the Towne Point Motel at different periods in time.  On both postcards, Vernon B. Derrickson, Jr. is listed as Manager.  But the aerial view (the older view) shows no pool and the description on the reverse side, does not mention a pool.  The other postcard with the pool is a few years newer than the aerial postcard.  Also, the phone numbers are different.  The aerial shows the phone number as Dover 5993 and the postcard with the pool has the phone number Dover RE 4-5993.  The aerial might be from the 1950's (I'm guessing) and the newer postcard is pre-1964 since there is no zip code in the publisher's address.  The postcards are in good condition in consideration of their age.  Please see photos for condition.
    This lot will be mailed out in a plastic sleeve inside a GREETING CARD.  The word "E-Bay" is NOT on the envelope for security purposes (so that it is not stolen).  It is truly a GREETING CARD ENVELOPE with the items inside the greeting card.  My name & address are on the return address label.  Sometimes the postal worker places small envelopes like these, inside delivered circulars and newsletters, so please look in all obvious places for the mail.  Thanks for looking at my auction!
