This item in my EBAY store is an EAPG CLEAR  "DAISY & BUTTON w/PETTICOAT BAND"  LARGE FTD. COVERED BUTTER DISH.   This "DAISY & BUTTON w/PETTICOAT BAND" covered butter dish is antique glass that has survived well over 100 years of survival and because of age has now become a beautiful family heirloom piece of glass that is in excellent condition having NO chips, cracks, scratches, and NO glass staining;   This "DAISY & BUTTON w/PETTICOAT BAND" covered butter dish here is the size of a so called "hotel" covered butter dish, a larger covered butter dish than you would normaly find in any other pattern, there is no damage to the finial on this lid, and all edges are smooth to the finger feel, and no roughness where the lid fits onto this butter base, all is good to go as if this covered butter dish has ever been used during its time;   This EAPG CLEAR "DAISY & BUTTON w/PETTICOAT BAND" LARGE ROUND FTD. COVERED BUTTER DISH is an early vintage antique covered butter dish that has been used and displayed over many years and still remains in beautiful heirloom condition;   I will also say that this "DAISY & BUTTON w/PETTICOAT BAND" covered butter dish that I have here does have those Early American Pattern Glass characteristics of the EAPG glass produced during this era of the glass making process having straw marks, stress marks and air bubbles that are sometimes seen inside the glass of Early American Pattern Glass, these characteristics I just mentioned to you are and can be seen inside the glass of this "DAISY & BUTTON w/PETTICOAT BAND" ftd. covered butter dish, these characteristics were done during the production process and is NOT considered damage;   This "DAISY & BUTTON w/PETTICOAT BAND" pattern is a non-flint glass pattern having many numerous table ware items produced in this "DAISY & BUTTON w/PETTICOAT BAND" pattern that was produced in the "1880's" by the "Burlington Glass Works of Canada" and can be seen and talked about in the "Doris & Peter Unitt hard back book on "AMERICAN and CANADIAN GOBLETS" book 1 on page #245;   Numerous (all) photos were taken outside in natural daylight in different backgrounds in numerous angles and positions to show pattern, condition, glass clarity and size hoping to answer any and all questions but if need be you can e-mail me or you can see me on my NEW web site at terrymackeyantiques.com.   When using a cell phone or mobile device please click on "see full description" to see more photos and measurements;   Insurane is bought at the USPS at the time of shipment to you, the cost of the shipping is .25 and the cost of insurance is .75, any over paid shipping cost will be returned to you the buyer;   All stickers on MY clear  "DAISY & BUTTON w/PETTICOAT BAND"  large ftd. covered butter dish sent to you must remain on MY clear  "DAISY & BUTTON w/PETTICOAT BAND"  large ftd. covered butter dish for any glass return, NO exceptions!                Inventory #451A                 4/28/2021           Will ship International mail when Buyer request shipping cost thru EBAY.               Please read my BIO on my NEW web site.
