This item in my EBAY store is an EAPG CLEAR  "MASCOTTE" 8" LARGE HIGH STANDARD FOOTED COVERED COMPOTE.   This Early American Pattern Glass large covered "MASCOTTE" compote is antique glass that has survived well over 100 years of survival and because of age has now become a beautiful family heirloom piece of glass;   This Ripley high standard ftd. covered compote is in excellent condition having NO chips, cracks, scratches and no glass staining;   I may add that this

This "MASCOTTE" 8" high standard ftd. covered compote that I have here is non flint glass having many numerous table ware items produced in this "MASCOTTE" pattern, this highly collected "MASCOTTE" pattern was produced by the "Ripley and Company out of Pittsburgh, Pa. around "1874";   This "MASCOTTE" pattern can be seen and talked about in one of my many reference materials, one by "Reilly & Jenks" the "EARLY AMERICAN PATTERN GLASS collector's identification & price guide" on pages #320 - #322;
