Description
This item in my EBAY store is an EAPG CLEAR "NEW ENGLAND PINEAPPLE" set of (6) FTD. GOBLETS. This Early American Pattern Glass "NEW ENGLAND PINEAPPLE" set of (6) ftd. goblets are all antique glass that has survived well over 100 years of survival and because of age all have become beautiful heirloom pieces of glass; This "NEW ENGLAND PINEAPPLE" pattern is attributed to the "New England Glass Company, out of Cambridge, Mass. between the years of "1855-1870's", I will say that these (6) goblets that I have here do have flint in the glass, but do NOT ring to the ping, you can tell there is flint in the glass because of the super clarity in the glass, even my photos show this to you, I will mention that I myself refer this glass company as the "grandaddy" of glass companies, but only my opinion; ALL (6) of these "NEW ENGLAND PINEAPPLE" ftd. goblets are
in excellent condition having NO chips, cracks, scratches, and no glass staining; I may add that I buy volume and I sell volume due to the pile up of glass, also in a photo I show that there is a heighth difference, enough to make these (6) ftd. goblets different, consequently this is NOT a pick or choose situation here, if a return would be necessary ALL (6) of these "NEW ENGLAND PINAPPLE" ftd. goblets have to be returned because ALL (6) of these "NEW ENGLAND PINEAPPLE" ftd. goblets are selling as (1) item, and also because of the price, NO eceptions! I may also add that these these (6)
EAPG CLEAR "NEW ENGLAND PINEAPPLE" FTD. GOBLETS are all
early vintage antique glass ftd. goblets that have been used and displayed over many years and ALL (6) ftd. goblets are still in very beautiful condition;
These
"NEW ENGLAND PINEAPPLE" set of (6) FTD. GOBLETS that I
have here do have those EAPG characteristics of stress lines, straw marks, and air bubbles inside the glass that was done during the production of these (6) EAPG ftd. goblets during the glass making process and is NOT considered damage but is very common in the glass produced during this glass era of Early American Pattern Glass production;
This "NEW ENGLAND PINEAPPLE" highly collected glass pattern is produced in flint and non-flint glass and can be seen in one of my many reference materials, one by "Reilly & Jenks", the book "EARLY AMERICAN PATTERN GLASS COLLECTOR'S IDENTIFICATION & PRICE GUIDE" show and talk about this very large and highly collected pattern on pages #339 - #340;
