    Description

    Hummingbird water Pitcher Clear Glass Bird and Fern Riverside Glass Works
    1879-1908.
    The glass is clear and any colors you see in the photographs are reflections from indoors where I photographed the piece. There are lovely bubbles, straw marks, and glass is wavy, three-part mold. Color and clarity are excellent some fine small scratches on inside lower portion of pitcher from use. A little extra glass at mold lines on top of base, wear on base is commensurate with age. 4 13/16” across barrel and 9 ¼” height to lip. Base 4 ½” diameter pressed handle. This whimsical pitcher makes one smile, from the curling of the fern fronds to the lively birds it is charming. Weight before packing 3.342 pounds. Please email with questions or comments.
