    This listing is for a pair of lovely Sterling Silver low candlesticks/candle holders with an applied three-dimensional decorative grape/grape leaf design at the top of the base made by the C. Codan Silversmiths in Mexico, c. 1940-50s.
    These nice candlesticks were made in the decorative style made popular by the Danish silversmith Georg Jensen. The applied silver grape design stands in high relief around the center of the candle holder above a wide convex base.
    Both candle holders are in
    excellent condition with no noted flaws and reflecting only minimal signs or normal wear.
    Measure 2 1/8" high with a 1 3/8" diameter top. a 3/4" candle opening and a 3 3/4" diameter base. Combined weight is 260 grams.
    Marked on the base "C Codan, Sterling 925, Mexico" with the eagle mark 7 below.
