Mitutoyo Dial Thickness Gage

Mitutoyo Dial Thickness Gage. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS
I assume this works but I have not tested it and it is being sold as is. I know nothing about machinery- even as simple as this is.
It is quite sturdy and heavy and appears to have only been out of the original plastic a few times.
