    Description

    Plume Cider set, pitcher and six tumblers. Non- flint Adams #3, Manufactured by Adams & Company, Pittsburgh, PA circa 1880. The United States Glass Company, Pittsburgh, PA, at Factory “A” after 1891. The glass is clear and any colors you see in the photographs are reflections from indoors where I photographed the piece.
    The cider set has the mold marks and straw marks and bubbles and waviness common in this era of glassware. Wonderful color and clarity and the impression from the mold is good. This cider set is lovely but the tumblers all have either a small chip or imperfections on inside or outside of ground rim. Please refer to photographs. Color and clarity are very nice. The pitcher has a blown and applied handle that is well executed.Tumblers are blown not pressed. Please email with questions or comments. Weight before packing 3 pounds 12 oz.
