Rare Beautiful Pair of Antique Silver Candlesticks 1753 & 1754 JQ
According to my research these Antique Silver Candlesticks were made in London
One in 1753 and the other in 1754
Both have the Crowned Leopards Head (1478-1822)
Both have the London Lion Passant
9" Tall x 5.5 at the base
There is also a knight mark on the front of each candlestick that I have not been able to identify.
There are two Makers Marks on each, one has a t and JQ and one has j and I.Q.
J.Q and I.Q are the mark of Jacques Quesnel from the Channel Islands.

Since I am no silver expert I am only posting what I have found and what I believe to be true. I am posting lots of photos of the candlesticks and the marks so that you can do your own research and decide for yourself.
