    Description

    Silver Queen AKA: Elmino Cake Stand High Standard Manufactured by Ripley and Company, Pittsburg, PA. circa 1890. The glass is clear and any colors you see in the photographs are reflections from indoors where I photographed the piece.
    The cake stand has the mold marks and straw marks and bubbles common in this era of glassware. Good color and clarity and impression from the mold is very nice. Three-part mold and one fleabite on outside of skirt. Very minor mold roughness inside rim of base. No brandy well but slight indentation in center of salver. Please email with questions or comments. Elegant cake stand diameter 9 7/16” gallery edge to edge the skirt flares out from there. Height 6 5/8” Hollow stem no engraving.
