    Superb c1908 American Sterling Silver High Victorian / Rococo Style Candlestick
    Presented is a superb quality antique American sterling silver candlestick. This piece dates to circa 1908. The candlestick is done in an ornate high Victorian style, with acanthus leaf decoration and beaded borders. The candlestick stands on four Rococo style legs, adorned with scrollwork and floral designs. The candlestick has a removable bobeche or wax drip, for ease of cleaning. The inscription on the front reads 1883-1908 around an initial B, as this was a 25 year anniversary gift. This is a fine quality, well made piece, with no weighting or filling, just sterling silver.
    This piece is in great condition. There are no splits, no dents, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
    The candlestick is stamped sterling on the underside.
    The candlestick is about 11 3/8 inches tall.
    The candlestick weighs 633 grams or 22.3 regular ounces.
