    Description

    Hilda Miloche's paper dolls are highly sought after by collector's.  You can look at one of her dolls and say "That's a Miloche!!".   "Peggy Has Real Curls" is a boxed Whitman set, # 4624 and was published in 1957.  The one doll has a neck crease and that's shown in the photos.  The "real hair" can not be combed.  I have replaced the plastic stand.  There are 36 clothing items and 17 hair bows that match the outfits.  There are holes in the bows to attach them to the hair with the included 1950's hairpins.  The clothing items include all the seasons and major holidays. The box is only in fair condition, with some dings and taped and repaired spots.  I ran out of photo room before I could include more of the box flaws and I can send those upon request. This is a lovely collectible set with the incredible art of Hilda Miloche!!  The entire set is shown in the photos.
    Please see photos for content and condition. All of the paper dolls that I offer are from estates and from other homes.  I don't know the previous storage history.  My collection is kept in a smoke/pet free area of my home with a dehumidifier running 24/7.  I have a poor sense of smell at my age and am unable to detect odors.  People  smoked way back when, so that could linger and I would not be aware of it.  I try and list all of the flaws with any paper dolls that I sell.
